Thanks for posting this blog and all the info on Adano. It’s wonderful to be able to see him and hear his messages at a time when they mean more now than ever.

What was the connection between Andy/Mary and Adano? Does anyone know their friend, Ruth, who also lived in Parks?

  7. admin says:

That is a very good question, Ginger says that Adano taught Andy meditation and lived with them for awhile, but does not know much else. Ruth rings a bell, do you have any more details about her?

  8. Atom Bergstrom says:

Are you talking about Ruth, Margaret Mary’s roommate in Flagstaff?
If so, she’s on “cosmic vacation.”
Keep up the good work and service to humanity! :) ))

I lived next door to Adano in 1982-4. I remember fondly eating on his patio several days a week, as well as meeting many very nice people in his apartment.

He was a lovely man, and it was amazing how much everyone was in awe of him routinely.

Does anyone remember “ginnie’s goodies” sold at adanos?

  10. admin says:

Thanks for commenting James. My wife remembers ginnie’s goodies, they were delicious.

Thanks to everyone for the websites and links with information, pictures, and teachings of Adano. I have been thinking about him a lot just in the past few weeks. First a patient, then a student in Houston in about 1978, I spent many wonderful hours in treatment/meditation and also enjoying the patio and sharing meals with everyone involved in the healing center. I was massaging my feet in the whirlpool water jets at the gym last week after swimming. Sitting on the edge of the pool, I had closed my eyes to relax and was thinking about Adano. I opened my eyes to discover that the man across the pool was an elderly oriental man. I began scanning my memory for images of Adano, and determined to do a google search when I got home. Thanks so much for the connection.
