I have been thinking about him a lot just in the past few weeks. First a patient, then a student in Houston in about 1978, I spent many wonderful hours in treatment/meditation and also enjoying the patio and sharing meals with everyone involved in the healing center. I was massaging my feet in the whirlpool water jets at the gym last week after swimming. Sitting on the edge of the pool, I had closed my eyes to relax and was thinking about Adano. I opened my eyes to discover that the man across the pool was an elderly oriental man. I began scanning my memory for images of Adano, and determined to do a google search when I got home. I remember fondly eating on his patio several days a week, as well as meeting many very nice people in his apartment.
